Rockets' Director of Coaching, Matt Johnson, assistant coach of the GB Under 20 Women, was ecstatic following GB's single point victory over the Slovak Republic in Macedonia on Sunday evening.  GB had beaten Israel in the quarter finals, Portugal in the semis and then took on one of the two favourites in the Final.

 

GB took an early lead which they maintained well into the fourth quarter when the experienced Slovaks came back and snatched the lead, but GB scored the crucial final points to win a magnificent event and put GB Women's basketball on the map.
