The Basketball Academy at TVU was set up 2 years ago to help bridge the gap for basketball players wanting to balance their education with a high level of performance in their chosen sport.
Over the past two years the Academy has grown from a small number of interested players to a three tiered performance-based programme of excellence linked with the Reading Rockets four star club in the National League.
This season the Academy has 13 selected performers and another seven players that are part of a development group.
